About Carole Haigh
Professional Reiki Instruction
Based in Crook of Devon in Kinross-shire, with an office in Dundee, I am a Shibumi International Reiki Association registered Practitioner Teacher. I have worked with thousands of individuals in group courses or individually. I also offer Reiki mentoring and coaching to those who wish to use Reiki for their personal wellbeing but are not interested in training with certificates.
I believe that my students naturally respond to my warmth and intelligence, and my own way of working is a model that many of my students would like to emulate. The inspirational trainers and mentors I work with help me to develop unique ways of teaching and supporting people, which in turn empower them to feel inspired to make the most of their own potential to grow and develop in the field of Traditional Japanese Reiki.
I started my journey exploring holistic therapies through my own ill health. I originally studied in Western Reiki which is from the Tibetan form but now I work only with Japanese Reiki after retraining in 2001. I continue to research and train with well known and International Reiki Teachers and as I find more about the original ways of working with Reiki, I incorporate it into my practice and my training of Reiki practitioners and Reiki Practitioner/Teachers.
I incorporate the Principles and my understanding of vibrational energy through my holistic practices into the other aspects of my working life as a therapeutic consultant.
I have gained Senior Practitioner status with the British Register of Complementary Practitioners which is administered by the Institute for Complementary and Natural Medicine (ICNM). This is a prestigious achievement as I have needed to provide five years evidence of both my work and my expertise as a complementary practitioner and I am honoured to gained Senior Practitioner status. I am a Registered Practitioner/Teacher with the Japanese Reiki Shibumi International Reiki Association. I abide by their Codes of Practice and Standards.
