Contracting:
The content of the contract becomes a contract when the commitment is agreed. Where a contract has been made, the Consultant reserves date(s) for the client and this takes priority over other work.
Support Materials:
The Consultant will provide support materials that are relevant to the personal life and work of the individual and which are consistent with good practice in equal opportunities.
Fees, Invoicing and Payment:
The fee is £50.00 for each one-hour session. It is the practice of the Consultant to invoice on sessional basis. Invoices are for immediate payment. A reminder will be sent if the invoice remains unpaid after 30 days from date of issue. In the case of the payment being outstanding for some length of time a penalty of 10% per month will be imposed. The Consultant will discuss options with you if the fees are a problem. Payment can be made in cash, by cheque, or through internet banking.
Cancellation:
If the date is postponed within 7 days and no date rescheduled, 50% of the full fee may be payable. Cancellation giving less than 24 hours’ notice will result in the client being liable for the full amount.
Providing the right service:
If at any time the client would like to discuss with the consultant how the service to them could be improved, or if the client is dissatisfied with the service being received, please let the consultant know immediately. The consultant undertakes to look into any complaint carefully and promptly and to do all that can be done to explain the position. If it is felt that the consultant has given a less than satisfactory service, the consultant undertakes to do everything reasonable to address these concerns. If you are still not satisfied, the consultant will work with you to have the service independently reviewed and to act upon the recommendations of the independent reviewer.
Termination of contract
The consultant will give notice of the need to terminate a contract to enable the working relationship to be closed satisfactorily for both parties.Chtc requires that the client gives two weeks’ notice of termination of contract to enable the working relationship to be closed satisfactorily for both parties. If this notice is not given two weeks, fees will be payable. In the event of unforeseen circumstances resulting in the inability of the consultant to complete the contract, an Associate of the consultant will work with the client to close the contract in a caring manner.
